Books at a height of 3.80m? Hmm.

Under the keyword 3D ceiling decoration, this comes up:

Is it different to sleep that way?

Hehe...
There are bookshelves that go up to 5 meters and then have a sliding ladder
I didn't write the height at which the boards/beams are installed. Optimal at about 2.50m or so... then the look is broken upwards...
We, for example, also have our books on shelves installed at 2 meters height. Looks very homely. But they are arranged as a crown along the walls...

Yes, visually breaking the height would certainly be nice. On the other hand, one must not forget that a potential tenant has to heat this height and would rightly wonder why they are paying for that. Therefore, it will probably come down to lowering.

My son has a mid-height bed (just for the little dwarfs, who by the way urgently need to use the toilet at night. Conclusion: It sleeps great there, changing the sheets is so damn awful, making the bed is also annoying. After 2 days of getting used to it, you can get down to pee at night really well (if my 3-year-old can do it, then so can the older ones). A subtle night light can help with that. If a loft bed is to be advertised, then rather as a gallery bed with a proper staircase.

I can agree to that extent that a staircase really makes a big difference. Such a rung ladder is (in my opinion) really unpleasant, especially barefoot. If you have another solution there, I think the idea is great. But I also completely understand if someone says that it is not their taste.
