We have a finished ceiling height of 2.32m in the basement, where 2m doors are installed. On the ground floor and upper floor, we have finished heights of 2.52m and 2.72m respectively and have planned for 2.1m doors. We buy the doors ourselves and a friend installs them for us; the material surcharge compared to 2m doors is €58 (gross) per door, which I find quite negligible considering what can be lost in other trades. If we had around 2.5m ceiling height everywhere, we would have been completely satisfied with 2m doors as well.
Higher rooms or long legs = 2.1m otherwise 2m is sufficient.
