Hello,
included in our price are only 200cm high doors (ceiling height 254cm). We have decided to plan all doors on the ground floor at 210cm (with an additional cost) and to leave them at 200cm on the upper floor.
Do you see any disadvantages with this?
Best regards

No. I think taller doors are stylish.

I did it exactly the same way. To be honest, I don’t notice any difference in everyday life (not even visually). When moving in or bringing a ladder in/out, a tall door is more practical. To be honest, for the next house, which will probably have a bigger budget—unless I win the lottery—I would probably go for 200cm doors everywhere. And even bolder, if it’s practical for wardrobe niches, 76cm width. You just don’t notice it in everyday life. And if I won the lottery, I would probably go straight to ceiling-high doors. Or even better, install those Star Trek automatic sliding doors (but they would have to be specially soundproofed).

But you do know that (during filming) there were people standing on each side pulling the doors open with ropes, right? Plus the ssssstttt sound... that means you would have to hire a person to open the doors ;) How high would the lottery winnings have to be then...?

Yes, I know. I have the Blu-ray collection; it includes it as bonus material. In the outtakes, someone regularly gets stuck or closes the door too early. :D

Enough to pay for it - no matter which version ;).

Depending on how big your family and friends/acquaintances are, I sometimes find it a bit tight at the top with 2m doors in one or the other place. And I am "only" 1.90. When I look at the boys nowadays walking around in schools... 2.10 is certainly not wrong...
