There was no price difference between monolithic and KS+ETICS in our case. But even if there was, I would pay a surcharge for monolithic. You simply have peace of mind and that's it. Because of 10 EUR per year...
You won't get rid of the woodpecker with just a bit of thick plaster. You really need a ceramic plate on the outside that the woodpecker cannot penetrate.
And you won't get 1.5 cm plaster as standard either, but rather 2 - 3 mm.
0.17 is 25% less than 0.23 (U-value). But I don't know if it's calculated linearly. It hardly matters anyway because it has no effect. Unlike ventilation losses, window surfaces, and hot water, the exterior wall, roof, floor slab, front door, and roller shutter box are peanuts.
On the topic of KFW55: According to our planning, it would also easily work with a 36.5 cm monolithic wall and a slightly better brick (0.08). Or the standard brick (0.09) with 42.5 cm.
However, the entire KFW55 documents and calculations cost several thousand euros alone according to two providers (one quoted over 4,000 EUR including all calculations, inspections, certificates, etc.). This amount has also been mentioned several times here in the forum.
And I don't see an interest rate advantage with Kfw55!?
2.25% over 20 years?
Market interest rate Commerzbank over 20 years currently with 2% repayment (so less than with KFW) and 80% loan-to-value: 2.08%.
