Installing a Miele dishwasher in IKEA Metod

Sorry that I have to bring up this topic again, but I am really desperate. Unfortunately, our dishwasher broke down even before the new kitchen was installed. I have been running back and forth between a store and Ikea for days now and am almost losing hope. We want to install a fully integrated Miele or Siemens dishwasher in our new Ikea kitchen (Metod). My neighbor has the Välgjord dishwasher from Ikea and is totally dissatisfied. I definitely don’t want that one. So Miele or Siemens. I have also understood that it absolutely has to be an XXL machine. But the Siemens one is already 86.5 cm high, Miele 84.5 cm high. The Ikea kitchen including the plinth is 88 cm. That doesn’t fit, does it? Or am I misunderstanding something? I urgently need help figuring out which machine from Siemens or Miele fits in there and which hinge or sliding rail to use. I have to buy the machine now and the Ikea kitchen will come later. If I buy the wrong one now, I will have trouble afterwards. It would be great if you could help me, maybe with the model number if someone has already installed one. Thank you all.

At Siemens, the vario hinge is included, can I also take a normal XXL and buy the hinge separately? Miele goes without a hinge or is that included as well? Thank you

The variable hinge is installed and cannot be retrofitted. I believe with Miele it just works that way, the important thing is only whether the installation diagrams indicate a maximum door height of at least 800 mm.

you are right, I just spoke with customer service and only these 3 models fit the metod, as they already have the various hinge installed. retrofitting is not possible.
