Hello everyone,
I have a little discussion again at the construction site with my electrician and need a third opinion:
The window installers have installed the windows with externally mounted electric roller shutters. The cable for this roller shutter then points inward at the top corner and hangs loose there.
Now the electrician wants to route this cable to the connection boxes installed at the window. He has already made drillings through the masonry to the cables and pulled the cables through. There are now about 2 cm of cable visible, the rest has disappeared into the wall.
Now I am concerned that if the plasterer now plaster these reveals, the cables will no longer be replaceable. The electrician says he could not do it any other way because otherwise he would have to drill within the width of the window frame and this must take place BEFORE the window installation.
Who is wrong now? Did the site manager overlook something?
Regards
Roger
