Yes, but did the house previously belong exclusively to the grandfather? Often both spouses are already registered as 50% owners in the land register while they are still alive. This is the case for my calculation.

That belonged 100% to Grandpa. Words.

I forgot the compulsory portion. But it has to be claimed and could perhaps also be compensated in another way.

You generally have to see how this develops. The easiest way would of course be for him to agree to sell to me, we prepare an appraisal, and pay him his share. But as is usually the case ... he will probably insist that the house be sold on the open market, hoping to generate more money. He also has two sons himself, maybe he sees one of them in the house. Some people just have no conscience ;-)

As far as I know, nothing can be blocked in a community of heirs. The opposite is the case: each heir can demand the dissolution of the community, then the inheritance is sold or auctioned.

Hm. Does one "have no conscience" when wanting to have the correct share of the correct value of their inheritance? Or maybe when wanting to pull a fast one on their own brother to get a house at a bargain price themselves?

Well, if you break off all contact with your own mother, thereby pretty much ruining her retirement, leave your siblings completely alone with the care, and shirk any responsibility, then from a moral point of view you should certainly humble yourself a bit first. Or what do you think?

There was never any talk of a bargain price, but of a reasonable price.

Of course, he can refuse the idea that the house is sold to me and block it. The consent of all is required, no matter how large or small the share is.
