I am hoping for the help of the collective

Since we now have a child and 22 degrees is definitely too cold for bathing for the little one, we will install an additional heater.

At that time, we had a line laid from the cheap electricity meter responsible for the heat pump into the bathroom.

I am looking for something like this

link removed; Bauexperte

The problem with this heater is that it comes from Italy and in case of problems the warranty will probably be difficult.

I only found something similar from the company Fern

But the problem there is that the towel holders have to be drilled separately into the wall

So I am looking for an infrared heater made of glass without a frame including a towel holder

I will control it via Somfy or a wireless switch.

Thank you very much

Hello ,

unfortunately, I can't really help you here.

But for better understanding, I have a question regarding your question:

With the company Fern, you criticize that the towel holder would have to be drilled into the wall. Is it different with the Italian product? It actually also looks like a wall mount.

Otherwise, a quick search on Google using the search terms "infrared heater glass frameless with towel dryer" brought up a hit at "Heiz Dich Wohl," which resembles your Italian heater. I will send you the link via private message.

With the Italian provider, the holder is attached to the glass!

For high beam, in addition to the heater, holes must also be drilled into the tiles.

I’ll check your tip, hope it doesn’t exceed the limit of about 500 euros.

If I understand the technology correctly, the device does not heat the air in your bathroom, but only the people who receive the radiation. So I don't think it will help you unless you hold the little one directly in front of the mirror.

For the few months when 22 degrees are not enough, I would simply put a portable electric heater in the bathroom...

It is around 450 euros there. I have seen more using a Google search. However, I can't say how the attachment is done here.

That is also my concern! I don’t know anyone who has installed it.

I only ever see that they are often installed on "Zuhause im Glück," but always on the ceiling there.

Since it should only be used as an addition for the time spent bathing, I am hoping for a sufficient effect. Especially since the position fits for us and the person bathing will be irradiated.

Currently, we have a radiant heater by the changing table.

I am happy to hear more experience reports.
