By the way - we also had a heater lamp above the changing table for both kids.

I think the thing was turned on a total of 3 times.
The child was quicker off the changing table before you even thought about the heater lamp. Even with dad .
But as a foresighted dad, of course I had installed it back then.

Reminds me that I still wanted to sell the heater lamp to create some space again.

I wouldn't get it just for that - babies aren't as sensitive as people like to think.

Bathing that often doesn't happen anyway, the room already gets nice and warm from the bathwater.

Think it over carefully if it is really going to be installed just for that - 500 euros is a lot of money.

We wrapped our children between 19 and 26 degrees, both survived without harm.

But do I understand correctly that you want to use the discounted electricity from the heat pump as a 1:1 heat source for infrared? Have you ever looked into the supply contract for the heat pump electricity?

You can do that, but in my opinion the reasoning is not valid. Save the money, do something later, the child will benefit more from that.

We turn on the fan heater 5-10 minutes before bathing (still renting). I don't believe we have used €500 worth of electricity there in the last 3.5 years. In my eyes, it is not worth it.

phew good point! And it was said back then that these flush-mounted sockets are specifically for that purpose and therefore only devices can be connected directly, meaning cables directly without plugs. That we are customers at EnBW was known by Schwörerhaus and they also installed the 2nd meter.

I will definitely check it in the contract.

I want it for myself and I think I do have it too sometimes I’m a softie, especially when I have to get up at 5 o’clock and I shower.
