Include the width of the Pax wardrobe from Ikea in the floor plan

it is very important to me that the Pax wardrobe from Ikea fits into the dressing room. The Pax is 2.72m wide in our planning. Should I then make the distance between the walls only 2.72m wide? Or do you plan some clearance? If yes, how much?
Does anyone have experience?

If you want to install a Pax then, fine. But the wall should already be 6 cm wider, so 2.78. However, you always have dirt and dust in the gaps and it’s hard to reach. So I would make the wall 3 m wide. That way you can clean on the left and right, and if Ikea ever changes the dimensions or goes bankrupt, another wardrobe will fit in.

We did the same in our current house, making sure the 3-meter Pax would fit. We had the wall planned exactly that length. I would recommend you allow some leeway. At least about 20 centimeters. Unless, like us, you want to always reach behind the wardrobe to switch on the light. :D
