Thanks already! So the showers are 1x1.10 m and built with Ytong. However, the walls are a maximum of 17cm thick... can something be milled in there without any worries? Natural stone shelves would look best visually, because we have travertine marble in the showers. I would find plastic less nice now.

@ Bautraum

If the tiling has not yet been done, talk to your drywall installer or bricklayer; depending on which trade built the walls in the bathroom.

An indentation in the shower wall will cost you a bit more in construction afterwards than if it had been considered right from the start; on the other hand, it saves a lot of lingering trouble.

Just remember, the tiler will also ask for a little more pay ;-)

hello,

I would say goodbye to the baskets and, as described by [Bauexperte], have a wall recess calculated. we had it done during construction and are super happy. stylish mosaic tiles were laid in the wall recess

Hello,
our shower has tiled corner shelves in one corner (Dusche ist in der Badecke). However, we also had a great tiler. I will look for a picture.
