The niche did not cost us any extra. The tiler agreed to it in the bathrooms.

What our corner shelves cost (more) I cannot say. The tiler was paid by the hour anyway. The material was already available for it. He used a board called Wediplatte for this. This was then placed on the wall tiles or something similar. The next row of wall tiles was cut out accordingly at the corners. We also have the stainless steel profiles on the edge at the bathtub and pre-wall.

Sorry - I missed that :-)
we didn’t build. Just renovated.
Tiles are from a building materials dealer in [VK-Luisenthal]. We bought just about everything there.

If nothing is tiled yet, a niche is definitely an advantage.

We have such a glass panel.

Tomtom... I don't think it's bad either. But don't the brackets eventually rust as well?
