We have successfully assembled our Pax (2x1 m corpus).

The installation of the sliding doors Lyngdal was exhausting but initially looked successful.

Each door can be slid individually all the way to the left or all the way to the right.
Sliding past each other also works quite well (with a bit of "help").

Unfortunately, it is not possible to properly close the wardrobe.
When one of the doors is closed at the outermost edge, about 10 cm remain open on the other door.
It blocks somewhere when closing, but we cannot figure out where.

We are sure that we have correctly adjusted this gray safety lever.

I have read here on the forum with dismay that there can be different side panels for sliding doors. I hope this does not apply to Lyngdal, right? We have not seen any markings with "A" or "B".

Does anyone have an idea how we can solve our problem?

Slide the doors apart (1 right, 1 left), when you try to push the open door further, what happens? Does the door lift off or is it then stuck so that you can't push any further? Is it the same if you do this on the other side, exactly the same? You have to describe your problem more precisely, otherwise no one can help you.

Take the assembly instructions again and look at each step carefully and compare it with the doors and you will find the mistake.

I thought I had described it quite well, but from my own perspective that is naturally relative ;)

The door does not lift off, it just sits firmly. It is as if there is some resistance that says "up to here, but no further." This applies both when we push the outer door all the way to the left and then want to close the inner one to the right, and vice versa. Individually, the doors can be pushed all the way to the stop on each side.

I can now recite the instructions by heart

Best to put it in the cupboard and close it. Then you can see best where the error is. But this way I have no solution.

Sorry

We have the error *jippieh*.

Out of sheer desperation, I called the Ikea hotline.
We were really too stupid and installed the front door UNDER the rail instead of IN the rail.
Now everything fits, closes, and nothing rubs :D

Thanks anyway for your help, it's nice that there are forums like this.
Maybe someday someone else will have the same problem as us, and they can read about it here.

Good, welcome.

Have fun with the new wardrobe. It was a good choice.
