Hello,
I had the same problem. Planned it in the planner, bought everything, and looked dumb during assembly. Since a basket at the bottom was not an option for me at all, I decided to mill a groove in the side of the drawer. I milled the side panel, where the hinge is located, from the front to about 8 cm from the rear edge, about 2.5 cm wide and about 0.6 cm (about half the board thickness) deep. Then also a recess in the front, and now I have a drawer at the bottom. Visually, the open groove in the chipboard doesn't bother me, because on that side there is the door anyway, so you can't see it, and the recess in the front doesn't bother me either, as it is filled by the hinge. I am now satisfied with this solution. Nevertheless, it is an embarrassment from Ikea, partly because you can plan the drawer like this in the planner, but even more because I consider it a real design flaw not to be able to have a drawer at the bottom. Ikea should come up with something, e.g. offering correspondingly grooved drawers.
