Hello everyone,

the following problem

I have an Ikea Pax carcass 100-50-100-50-100 standing against a wall in the bedroom.
Now I want to have the new sliding doors from Hasvik in high gloss white.
They come in 75 cm and 200 cm.

What options are there to still use the 75 cm ones even though they do not fit?

Many thanks in advance

Hello,
you would have to equip the last meter with regular doors and either trim the carcasses or the rails so that the sliding doors can be installed.
Better swap one of the 50s for a 100, so that you can use two 200 cm sliding doors and everything is easily accessible.

Hello,

we have a similar problem, our Pax planning looks like this:

75 - 100 - 75 - 100 - 75

Our idea now is to take two 1m sliding doors and three (of course purchased) four 75cm sliding doors.

The doors must then, of course, be moveable "continuously" over a long rail.
With the upper rail, this seems simply doable, the stoppers have to be removed and then the rails shortened accordingly and screwed together without a gap.

With the lower rail it will probably be a bit more complicated, we hope that we can use a 1.5m rail on the far right and far left each and then adjust the two 1m rails so that they cover the middle, of course we have to adjust the cutouts so that the walls of the cabinets are not in the way.

Theoretically and after studying the cabinets assembled at IKEA, this seems to be possible.

We would then of course only use the vertical aluminum rails on the far left and far right, but not in between.

Has anyone ever built something like this?

See you, krimskram
