Hello,
I am new here and registered specifically to get some tips regarding our new Ikea kitchen. I have already solved the dishwasher problem; we ordered a Siemens with VarioHinge in XXL, which is supposedly suitable.
Now we have the problem with the cooktop. We would like to choose induction (not Ikea), but we were told that in this case, you cannot install a drawer under the oven, but have to work with two panels instead. Is there any way to bypass this? So, some induction cooktop where it is still possible to keep the drawer underneath despite a countertop thickness of only 2.8 cm. Is the one centimeter really that problematic, since supposedly it would work with 3.8 cm.
Maybe someone can help us. We would be happy.
Best regards Yuliah
