Ikea Faktum sink cabinet difference FA 167 and FA 172

Hello everyone!

I need a new sink cabinet with a waste separation system in 60 cm width for my Faktum kitchen. Unfortunately, the repurchase guide is not very helpful, and there are no longer any assembly instructions.

What is the difference between FA 167 and FA 172 – both can be supplemented with the Rationell waste separation system, right?
What is that 13 cm short part at the top – a drawer front?
Does the drawer need to be combined from two drawer fronts, or can you also use a 60x57 door?
Which full extension must be used?

Hello, FA 172 only has a drawer at the bottom, FA 167 also has an inner drawer further up. The 13 cm is a fixed mounted drawer front. 60x57 door is also possible, as FA 166 has. Which drawer you can use depends on how much space is in the cabinet. I have the normally deep drawer with railing at the bottom. If any pipes need space, then only the 45 cm deep drawer is possible. This one also includes additional mounting material to mount a 57 cm door as a front or to connect two fronts together. RATIONELL waste bin is no longer available.

If you want to look at instructions before buying: they are still available online at Ikea Australia because Faktum is still sold there.
