Ikea Faktum sink base cabinets waste system without lid?

during the planning of our kitchen, I noticed that the waste system from Ikea is partly without a lid and therefore not usable for us. I then searched the internet for another waste system. I found one from Hailo, which has a depth of 47.7 cm and a height of 43.3 cm. Now the question arises which base cabinet I should choose.

Basically, I have the FA 166, FA 167, and FA 172 to choose from. Since I don’t know how much plumbing stuff is underneath, I would say that the first two can be ruled out. For the FA 172, I then have the question of how deep the drawers are. I think I have seen and read somewhere that they do not have the full depth of 58 cm, but are shorter. In the Rationell purchase guide I find a full extension (401.101.67) that is supposed to be for the sink and only 35 cm deep. In the Rationell waste separation purchase guide there is an example in which the 32l bin (101.548.03) is placed lengthwise in the drawer, which would be at least 41 cm.

Therefore, my question now is, how deep is the drawer in the FA 172 cabinet?

The drawer of the 172 is 45 cm deep.
Leave the drawer wrapped at first. Measure the cabinet after it is assembled, the sink installed, and connected. If the drawer doesn't fit, you can exchange it. Or you can just take the cabinet and buy the drawers later. In my sink cabinet, there was even enough space at the bottom for a regular 53 cm deep drawer and above that for a 30 cm deep drawer.
An alternative would also be, for example, a waste separation system from Franke for mounting inside the cabinet, to which the front of the cabinet is attached.

Regarding the waste separation system, we need to take another close look at the individual systems in the store.
