Hello,

I urgently need help assembling a kitchen cabinet... I bought a base cabinet with three drawers, where this cabinet has a continuous front that is attached to the bottom drawer.

The front has round recesses on the left side that are covered with plastic plates. The right side is filled with matching (!) round plastic circles.

Now you are supposed to drill the drawer brackets there yourself. A drilling template is provided. But the instructions show you to drill into the plastic circle and also through the plastic plates. However, the supplied screws are not long enough to fill the cavity under the plastic plate...

Did I possibly misinterpret the instructions?! *g*

Does anyone know this problem?!
I'm about to lose it. All the other cabinets are finished and were really simple to assemble...

Thank you

Hej bog snail,

Please write the exact name of the part. Then we can look at the instructions online and maybe help you.

It would be a shame with all the expertise here in the forum, wouldn’t it?

Waiting greetings

Hello Toots,

so, this is a Faktum N117 Us/ drawer 40 with stainless steel front category (at least that's how it is listed in the overview*g*

I hope that helps...

Thanks

Hello,

The problem has not been solved yet. On the right side, it matches the illustration and it works. However, on the left side, there are the same round cavities for which no plastic circles have been supplied. Instead, plastic discs were already clipped on there as covers. And the screw has no hold in these.

According to the instructions, these circles are only supposed to be pressed in on the right side. And then drilling must be done using the drilling template. And that on both sides.

Regards

Yes, I can take a photo. I'll post it later. I could still insert such a plastic plug if I had one left. But there are only two in the bag and I installed them exactly as shown in the instructions. Unfortunately, the attempt to get it out again was unsuccessful :-)

Day, then drive to Ikea and say you need 2 X 114.233 (large plugs) and 4 x 114.505 (small plugs). At least that's how it is in my old manual. Those were still made of wood. Normally, they send them to you, or they even have some there. With the simple covers that were already on, it doesn't hold. You need the ones made of plastic or the ones made of wood. Otherwise, it makes no sense. If you have questions, just ask. Regards Maverick1854
