Ikea DATID CG7 gas stove / connection

Hi @ll,

does anyone have any idea what this might cost?
I can’t reach anyone at Ikea by phone who can tell me.
My local installers refuse or shrug it off when they hear
a device wasn’t purchased from them, no we won’t do that, they say in unison.

Maybe someone knows someone who can install this in the Rhein-Main-Spessart area.

I would be grateful for tips.

Hello,

just ask IKEA themselves. There is also an assembly department for transport and they can/are allowed to do that. Just do yourself a favor and don’t start tinkering on your own, thanks.

I had already thought about it too, so I guess I'll have to go there directly.

I actually wanted to order the stove online and have it delivered

and have the connection done externally.

Keep away from gas, I will definitely follow that advice, don't worry.

I was at IKEA today, would have liked to buy the oven too,

but they couldn't connect me with an installer/fitter.

No idea why, the customer usually does it themselves,

finds someone to connect the oven.?!?!?!?!?

There’s no one in my town, they refuse to connect IKEA ovens, great!

A forum reader got in touch, offered his help, let’s see if

he’s qualified, otherwise I’ll try MyHammer. We’ve always found tradespeople on MyHammer.

The stove is connected and works absolutely fabulously. The only annoying side story is that it still needed a gas hose and a connector, another 150 bucks extra, so be careful when purchasing and consider that there will be additional costs besides the costs for the installer. Regards Caio
