Hello
Yesterday we spent a long time at Ikea planning a sideboard for our bedroom. Our new 55" Sony TV was supposed to fit on it. We invested a lot of time and received detailed and thorough advice on site. In the end, however, we gave up.
Two reasons: The TV wall mount suitable for the cutout in the TV bench can only be used for TVs from IKEA and surely does not fit other TVs – this was assured to us several times by the staff ...
And Besta is not wood but just paper and air as was also assured to us several times by the IKEA staff ...
Okay! But I want furniture made of wood or at least particle board and I’m afraid I am just no longer compatible with Ikea. Just as little as a Sony, Samsung, LG, Philips and so on, and so on TV is compatible with IKEA’s TV wall mount.
