Ikea Besta Black Brown - Which Wall Color Fits?

Hello everyone,

during our last Ikea visit, we fell in love with the Besta series in black-brown (doors in black high gloss). Unfortunately, we are still unsure which wall color would go well with it. (light sand tone perhaps? vibrant light green? gray?)

Does anyone here have it like this in their living room and can give us a good tip?

Hello, I would make it dependent on the other walls and the rest of the furnishings and decorations in the room.

Thank you very much for the reply! The rest of the room is currently painted white, the decorations will go out with the new furniture set. The room is bright, the seating set is black leather. We also do not want to paint the whole wall, only the "background" of the furniture. I think we will try a very light beige. :)

I have Besta black-brown with the Vassbo doors at my place. I painted the walls in a yellowish tone. A mixture between sand color and ochre. If I had a good camera, I would take some photos.

since the furniture and your couch are already quite dominant with their dark tone, you should go for light, soft colors. As already mentioned, a light yellow or beige etc. would be a good choice. Colors like red or green are rather not suitable, not even in pastel, they look out of place.
