Ikea Auli discs do not fit, Ikea Färvik do

we bought 2 Pax cabinets with sliding doors.
With cabinet 1, the sliding doors (2x Färvik) fit into the frame without any problems and work fine.

For cabinet 2, we wanted to use one side Färvik, one side AULI (mirror glass). We tried everything and measured, but somehow the metal frame doesn’t close anymore when all the mirror glass panes are inside. If you take the same frame and put the Färvik glass panes in, the frame closes normally.

Has anyone experienced something similar? I suspect that the panes might be slightly too thick and therefore do not fit deeply enough into the rubber seals, but it could also be that we are just too stupid :)

I don't know the current sliding door frame, but have you tried using lubricant before?

Lubricant (I assume you mean penetrating oil) I haven’t tried yet, but it also sounds a bit like a botch :)

I will try to swap the discs tomorrow, maybe there is also a deviation in the manufacturing

I was thinking more of silicone grease or glycerin. It is quite common to assist with some lubrication in such cases. Of course, it must not be applied so heavily that it is under tension afterwards. Please report whether it works better with the other mirrors.
