Thank you,
Prairie garden, exactly what I want and I will not overlook the flower meadow either.
As a property boundary, I will adjust something with the neighbors after moving in, but it should be low-maintenance and space-saving. As a living property boundary, I find cemetery thuja very nice. Wall, I have to see (neighbors, available space, etc.). Our rear neighbors have filled in about one meter and of course the soil should be retained there; I think this is the best place to set up a raised bed for herbs and vegetables. The right side also offers space for a raised bed or greenhouse since there is more sun.
Nordlys, your planting rings look very appetizing. What kind of paving stones do you have? They are also nice; is it okay without edge stones like that?
Maria16, exactly. First the important things, the rest is done gradually. It also looks like there are too many paved areas. I need a path around the house 1.20 m to 1.50 m, on the right and left sides of the house wall I would then do 1.20 m, above and below 1.50 m. That way I still have a comfortable bending radius. (The corners not sharp-edged, but chamfered or rounded). The corners of the uncovered terrace (above) can also be removed.
Left side (gate + fence) 183 or 203 cm high, double wall sheets as roof (3-4 m deep), storage space for bicycles, lawn mower, etc. is realistic? Garbage bins outside the fence (bin box) or behind the tool room.
I have already commissioned the carport and tool room and they will be built last. Is a garden shed still necessary if I implement the above storage options?
I also don’t find the grass grid stones directly in front of the front door attractive but practical. I also don’t know how to loosen it up more there other than grass grid stones instead of paving stones. Maybe extend the upper corner of the perennial area parallel to the house wall diagonally to the front door and the lower corner to the left (like Maria16’s idea)? It will look something like this: (good-gartenbau)
