The men are right: the kitchen is about 3.20 meters... island 1.8, tall cabinet on the right 0.7 depth, we have 0.7 passage. If the refrigerator or oven is there, it is really tight when in use.
An island is basically not wrong (just no cooking island please. But I agree that the space for a functioning and well-usable kitchen is too small, at least if it should not become a purely working kitchen, and it does not look like it (open). In a new building, I would plan around 15m² minimum for the kitchen, especially if you like to cook with several people, why squeeze when you are already investing so much money.
