Hello forum,
Three weeks ago we had the interior plaster done. Now the low temperatures have arrived and ice formed on the wooden frame mainly in the basement. On the ground floor and upper floor where it is heated (wood stove) the problem occurs less. The windows are wiped and ventilated twice daily. I have not scraped off the ice so far, I think it can’t get any worse (it is already frozen). How should I proceed now? Heat and prevent the frost or leave it as it is. Can or will the windows suffer damage from this?
Regards and thanks
