If you need insurance, then take out a private one. It doesn’t cost the world. I would have done it if we had put up more than just wallpaper. The staircase was done by a company; usually nothing happens in the rooms...

So, I asked again. We only have Q2. The construction manager said that before the painter comes, it's not worth plastering the walls any finer anyway. Someone always bangs against them and it was never anyone’s fault. Basically, I'm not that picky that the walls have to be extremely smooth. But if there are major mistakes or ugly streaks right in front of my nose, I would sand them smooth again (or have it done?). I would like to do it myself. Does anyone have experience with this? Is it doable? We are not totally unskilled when it comes to handiwork, but of course still amateurs. A little bit of touch-up can't be that hard, right?

Therefore my inquiry. Q2 is standard... we have that too. But we will only be painting. And I will have no problem with the wall looking like plaster and not like smooth filler. In our old property on the ground floor, we scraped off the wallpaper back then. The substrate comes from a time when wallpapering was standard. And it is sufficient for me. There are no dents in it. I think if you let the plasterer know that you only want to paint, then he will also put effort into Q2 - at least that's what I hope.

Has anyone had experience with [Aufspritzen von Farbe] in this context?
When painting an entire house, it might be worthwhile?

Then you need good paint and have to tape everything off. Otherwise, the spray mist will settle everywhere. I did a room with it, then returned the equipment. I preferred the roller. The result did not convince me because you had to dilute the paint too much.

It is always nice for everyone who uses the search function when threads are also closed. So Kaho, what can you say in retrospect as a conclusion? (I actually just searched because I wanted to know which type of role is recommended)
