Wow, I’m supposed to now recall what happened 4 years ago? This is turning into a lot of work.

If I remember correctly, the whole family spontaneously helped us with the painting. There were 7 people. After the first rooms, a division of labor became apparent. The girls taped everything off and painted the corners and edges. The 3 men used large rollers to cover the surfaces. Everything was primed and painted twice.
I think we finished in 3 or 4 days.

I did have some support, but I did most of the work in the evenings after the job. The problem with that is that you need a lot of time for preliminary work (changing clothes, laying electricity into the room, connecting the lamp, getting painting supplies) and especially for follow-up work (e.g. washing out the rollers). From 2 hours, quickly only 1 hour remains for effective painting. So Kaho's option is better.

Trick from a painter friend: If you continue within the next two or three days, simply wrap the brush and roller tightly in plastic wrap or a yellow bag. This often saves the really tedious cleaning.
