How high are your living expenses after building a house?

You just have to be faster with the new purchases.

Lawn: We seeded in absolute heat, or rather had it seeded, and had the irrigation sold to us at the same time. We wouldn't have managed to water it ourselves time-wise; everything would have dried out. The lawn grows like crazy in this weather. Reseeding at the right time is cheaper and more sensible, don't ask about the water consumption. Now that it's green, less water is enough; the consumption wouldn't have been sustainable anyway.

The surveyor just came to measure the house. It took less than 15 minutes. I'm curious about the cost.

I watered like crazy... still, many spots dried out. But that’s probably more due to the sandy soil; now some loamy topsoil will be added on top, I hope that will fix it. And sowing in autumn is simply less complicated. Saves a lot of water and by next summer the lawn will be strong enough. Anyway, learned something again.

We also only have sand. You need more water

The irrigation here is not completely even. Areas with a little less water were long completely bare, 2cm away, as if drawn with a ruler, bright green areas.

Good luck. It will work.

I don’t see much room. If there’s no cafeteria included with Essen/Drogerie, you can get a little bit out of that. And depending on the demand for entertainment (Amazon/Netflix). But these aren’t big gains, and whether it’s worth it to you...?

You’re definitely not big spenders.

I don't find all of this exaggeratedly high either. I wonder why you ask. Do you feel the need to save more somewhere? Do you have to save more?

I find that set very low. Does that include inspections? Probably not the savings rate for a new purchase. What if you need a new one?

You could manage with less. Flat rate is available for under 10€, Netflix isn't necessary, it's pure nonsense.

That's not necessary either. Very few come into the situation of having to sue. However, your private pension is very high. You are capping yourselves double and triple. The retirement provision is the house, possibly also a life insurance or similar. You have an investment like a large family

That also works for half. Gourmet coupons and Groupon for eating out. Cinema is too expensive, but cheap Prime (Netflix probably comes into play again?) No, honestly: these are extras... if you want to live more frugally, then this obviously isn’t it.

Including garbage etc. okay...

Frugal!

Overall, the salary makes the expenses. So if you have to, then with a household budget and check your insurances. If you only have the feeling, then it’s also because of the insurances. That is my opinion.

100€ for clothing per month, respect! I can't remember the last time I managed that...

If at all, I only see minimal saving potential with the insurances.
