How do photovoltaic system providers search for a new construction?

Because the price of a battery currently probably does not pay off compared to the cost savings through the battery. And since I remember that money doesn't grow on trees for you, and you are allowed to build in a high-cost region, I would have left out the storage.

Ah, that was our misunderstanding. I thought you wanted to tilt in the roof direction (i.e., racking towards NNE), and that wouldn’t have made any sense. I didn’t know you could tilt against the roof direction. Doesn’t that also potentially cast shadows on your own modules?

I would never have thought about racking towards NNE, that really wouldn’t have made any sense ;) Tilting against the roof direction is possible and is done, but of course you need space between the module rows. Probably acceptable at 12°. But my photovoltaic software trial period has expired, I can’t simulate that anymore :(

Have you by any chance managed to organize money from somewhere else? If I remember the financing thread at least somewhat correctly, you actually have to save every cent. A large photovoltaic system or even a storage system were certainly not included in the budget at that time, and since then both construction costs and interest rates have increased significantly.

Ecologically, it is also not sensible, as the generated photovoltaic electricity that is not used by oneself is converted with losses. In total, less fossil energy would be needed if there were no home storage systems. Additionally, the production of the storage systems is also not environmentally friendly.

If the numbers are still the same, we basically have no equity and €4400 net income, targeted installment €1700. What that means near Munich with current interest rates everyone can figure out for themselves.

So my comment on the battery's cost-effectiveness was actually meant kindly. But bringing up the old threads so everyone can enjoy them again doesn't really help the [te] ;-)
