Hello,

I have attached the views - this was originally approved that way. Hopefully it is clearer for you now.

Rhineland regards

Hello, I find children's rooms of about 12 sqm much too small. That is one reason why we are building a new house. Our two children's rooms are also this size. When there is a bed and a wardrobe in there, there is hardly any space left to play, for example with trains, etc. My daughter has a loft bed, but that doesn’t help either. Our future children's rooms will be about 20 sqm, children also need their retreats and privacy, however we only need 2 of them. No further offspring is planned. Regards Simone

Hello Simone,

In the former, I certainly agree with you, but 20 sqm is personally too much for me; especially since children are likely to stay in their rooms only for a foreseeable and few years. Later, everything else is interesting, just no longer their own room ... where mother & father among others have control at any time

In the present draft, it was not possible to do otherwise regarding the number of desired children's rooms. On the one hand limited by the building envelope and last but not least by the budget. If there were "only" 2 children to accommodate, each children's room on the upper floor would have a good 18 sqm available.

Rhenish greetings

Hello,

yes, that may be the case. With us, the children are at an age where they would rather not sit on the couch with mom and dad. It tends strongly towards the youth room... which has the great advantage that the living room is no longer "cluttered" with toys.

Best regards from Simone

What Bauexperte means is, the time will come when they want to spend as little time as possible on their parents' couch or in their room (near the parents). But with 5 children, it is clear that the rooms cannot be too large.
