I took a look at the ventilation system, interesting system, especially for the retrofit market. I can't judge how it works in practice, but with the costs, you could probably save around 5k compared to others. In other systems, pipes are laid through ceilings, walls, and screed; here, "only" holes are drilled into the wall and a power cable is laid, hence the estimated price advantage. I would check the ongoing costs again, meaning maintenance and filter replacement. With central systems, you change one filter; here, one at each opening, and there are quite a few. Some can also be cleaned, so it doesn't have to be a problem. It is also a single rather young company; spare parts supply would still be an issue. But the big bang you’re looking for in terms of price is not to be found here either.

Hello,

Thank you!

Most providers include the stripping of the topsoil and the backfilling in their owed service. Everything concerning access roads, terraces & co. belongs to the incidental building costs; smaller construction companies always prepare offers based on the requested service.

House has become a bit more expensive: lime-cement instead of gypsum for 6 € more per m². Earthworks for about 2 T€ (the written offer is still missing) Appointment with the window maker tomorrow, let's see what else will be added. Currently, the windows have 2 mushroom cams - should one aim for any safety class there?

Definitely. 2 mushroom pins are not mushroom pins. The guideline is, as far as I remember correctly, every 50 cm. You can also leave them out. A lockable rosette is also not wrong (we have it on all ground floor windows and accessible upper floor windows). Laminated safety glass is another option to provide more security. Anything that costs the burglar time is good.

Mushroom pin requested (RC2 N) - surcharge about 600 euros again. Electric roller shutters are probably coming now as well, since currently ones with a crank are planned (strap would have still been okay). The window maker indicated that it will probably be significantly more expensive again. We have also inquired about the price for flat thresholds at the patio door again.

Why don't you use straps? These are cheaper than the cranks. Electric shutters with the up/down function, on the other hand, cost about €270.00 each.

Rhenish greetings
