It is not necessarily written from his perspective but from the perspective of real estate prices. For them, it is bad, in the sense that it has a lowering effect. That it would overall be positive for large parts of society is hardly doubted by anyone...And what exactly do you see as bad about this? Home office means less commuting, which means due to the high volume of individual traffic (especially in rural areas) less CO2 emissions and at the same time more quality of life because less time is lost on the road. If fewer office spaces are needed in the cities, these remain empty at first. In a second step, I can imagine a change of use to residential space, which in turn would ease the housing market. Conversion of already existing buildings means that new living space is created without additional land sealing. From my perspective, that is great.
