House construction 2016 + gas heating

Good morning home builders. One question: who is building with a gas heating system according to the new building regulations? Asking because I have to make the most expensive windows overall 0.7 (due to the new regulations). How is it with you?

Hi, we are not building yet, but have already obtained some offers. We also plan to use a gas heating system, but want to achieve Kfw55 standard. Therefore, it is still combined with a [Kontrollierte-Wohnraumlüftung mit Wärmerückgewinnung], a solar thermal system, and our windows also have an overall 0.7 rating.

Why does it have to be kfw55?

Because with the equipment we want, the additional cost is low and therefore the KFW funding is worthwhile for us.

If you do not want or need a KfW loan, that is not a problem at all. I myself am still in the early planning phase and currently tend towards gas (without solar thermal) or a heat pump with trench collector.
