I plan to replace my hot water pipe with a ring circuit with a circulation pump. All routes are open.. It should be aluminum composite pipe 20x2. Now there are dozens of different insulations and also different thicknesses... I would rather not use the wrong one... Can you recommend something? Preferably pipe with the insulation already on it... Thanks to you in advance..

On the Bosy website, there is some information under the term "Wärmedämmung". However, work on drinking water pipes should, as far as I know, only be carried out by qualified installers. After all, this concerns drinking water. It may even be prohibited to do anything yourself.

Don't worry, a trained installer will press and connect the pipes... But drilling holes, installing hanger bolts including clamps, and laying the pipe should not be a problem.. Of course, answers will come now.. Why don't you ask the installer... My experiences with craftsmen (I am one myself ) have not been great so far.. Everyone has different opinions... That's why I wanted to ask here in the forum before I start getting something or talking to the installer about what I should use, which insulation or how thick it should be... Or if someone can recommend a product to me.. Since this is about a hot water pipe and I want to avoid unnecessary losses.. I found this pipe... does anyone know it? it has 13mm insulation Mehrschichtverbundrohr Gerpex RA Emmeti

Thank you very much for your photos and information.
The hot water pipes run only in the basement and in 2 shafts upwards as well as in a stud wall.
I don’t have to lay anything over screed etc. But can reach everywhere with clamps up to the consumer.
That’s why it would of course be great if there is an aluminum composite pipe with sufficient pre-installed insulation.
From my point of view, this would considerably speed up the work.
I have seen pre-insulated composite pipe with 20x2 and 13mm insulation… would that also be sufficient.
At least in the shafts. These run through heated rooms.
Then possibly only in the basement, if the insulation is too thin, exchange it for another one.

Why does a craftsman always have to do everything? Somehow I no longer understand the purpose of hardware stores or specialist dealers selling to private individuals. I am hearing for the first time that a water installation has to be done by a company.

Composite aluminum pipe is for me like Gardena for adults. Assemble everything with compression fittings and carry out a pressure test.
