We have just decided on Gutshofdielen. They write on their homepage:
"The forestry and sawmill business Hegener-Hachmann has been family-owned on Gut Hanxleden for four generations. In addition to traditional agriculture and forestry, the sawmill has also been operated here from the very beginning.
Following the motto 'Improving quality of life, naturally through and with wood!' we manufacture solid wood floors from native woods under the brand name 'Gutshofdiele.'
Especially from regional oak, but also from ash, maple, beech, larch, spruce, and Nobilis, exclusive plank floors for interior use are produced in an elaborate production process. The 'Gutshofdiele' is characterized by its high level of quality and precision fit"...
And:
"Because we do not think and act in short-term periods in managing our own forest, the preservation of the forest and ecological balance is always in focus. For example, round timber is only felled between November and January. During these months, the trees are in a kind of 'winter sleep.' The sap flow is then only minimal. Timber felled during this time is proven to be of particularly high quality."
Our eco-building material store here on site offers this supplier. We have chosen an oak for 59 euros per sqm. For the children's rooms, we are still considering because it is quite expensive...
