Do you have any photos and a floor plan of your crazy project?
I would be interested to see.

@Rick: Wow, great house! I have to read everything tonight.

What is your recommendation regarding cooling?

The house builder says the "cheap" options are no good, meaning the "inverter" heat pump is no good, because then the floor heating would be cold in summer and using the controlled residential ventilation for cooling would also be no good, because condensation water would cause moisture and mold.

Thank you Kmk123. Regarding cooling, the house construction company is right. Insufficient capacity and the dew point quickly cause problems over the floor. Controlled residential ventilation with "cooling" only allows for weak buffering. It makes more sense over ceilings and walls. The best option is a proper air conditioning system, e.g. fan coils. We have a much higher throughput with controlled residential ventilation (partly 10 times above the norm) and can therefore also cool via air with a central air conditioning unit. Consider whether you want to bring in an engineering firm for HLS. It has to work together.

Hello There must surely be something left over to build the yacht in the Bahamas a bit bigger. OK, why a heat/ground source pump is ruled out isn’t quite clear to me. I’m guessing that’s a wrong advisor. Steven

What the OP ultimately pays or how high the budget is, we do not know. Just because someone is willing to spend more on a house than others does not mean they live extravagantly. And even if they do, it is their personal freedom. I find the comment rather strange and tinged with envy.

With a normal heat/ground source pump, you cannot heat the property with a pool. You need larger devices that are correspondingly expensive. Not to mention whether drilling would even be permitted... Normally, one relies on a gas boiler or, for large facilities like hotels or swimming pools, on combined heat and power plants.
