So I always thought that by converting to underfloor heating (from radiators) I would save a lot of gas energy. Isn't that the case?

A somewhat questioned "pro" argument for underfloor heating. With heat pumps, there is usually no other option. With gas, it always depends on the individual case, e.g. room heating loads. In my opinion, there is no general pro for underfloor heating. Ad libitum heating is therefore hardly possible due to the inertia, for example. Often significantly more expensive (investment, capital service for this)... etc. This could be continued indefinitely. Radiator systems usually implemented in general contractor/general planning projects without optimized planning are less effective by comparison.

Best regards

Since I am going to change the floor coverings anyway, I wanted to convert to underfloor heating at the same time. Since I do not gain any advantage from it, I cannot imagine it at all. The house has a brick masonry 11.50 cm (0.960 W/m*K), then an air layer of 10-20 mm, then mineral fiber 6.00 cm (0.040 W/m*K), then Unipor masonry 24.00 cm (0.300 W/m*K), then lime gypsum mortar 1.50 cm (0.700 W/m*K). Thermal resistance of 0.130. --k- value = 0.36.

Laypersons usually consider individual details. The overview of the complex overall context usually does not succeed there. There are only two possibilities: Either have everything planned out by an external person, or realize what one thinks or imagines.

Best regards.

Who does such a hydraulic balancing..? Heating engineer. Expert. Architect....... Which experts do I need to go to?

A hydraulic balancing always refers to an already conceptualized or planned solution. Actually a partial or marginal issue within a necessary whole (planning/dimensioning)!
Here, preferably MEP planners who are also energy consultants, specializing in "small" units such as single-family houses, are certainly suitable.
For further questions, feel free to contact me by e-mail or private message.
