Usually, the heating engineer provides the heat load calculation to the heat pump manufacturer (or wholesaler) and pipe manufacturer for the underfloor heating. Whether this really fits 100% is rarely checked. Often there are huge oversizing or unfavorably designed underfloor heating circuits. Alternatively, you might want to look for an [TGA planner]. This person can usually calculate the heat load and room heat load better.

We had very good experiences with a planner from near Frankfurt. There was a huge difference between the design from the pipe manufacturer and the [TGA planner] (about 2 kW heat load difference in our favor).

It costs less than 200 euros with the design for the heating circuits and is absolutely worth it to have the heating engineer's planning double-checked.

It would definitely make sense. The only question is whether the heating engineer commissioned by the [GU] (and not by the client) will install the heating and underfloor heating according to a "third-party" plan. Unfortunately, you have no leverage. You just have to clarify that properly in the conversation.

Thanks for the answers, but this question is still open?

Can you name the MEP planner or contact them via PM? They only need floor plans, right (I'm not from FFM)?

Does anyone actually check if the ERR is really installed? I would like to completely ban it in our new building.

Please start a new post, I am trying to clarify completely different questions here But the thing about checking is of course interesting. Do open a new topic about it!

I am not familiar with the DIN regulations on this. However, it is usually the case that the heating load is roughly estimated using various more or less good methods for the preliminary sizing of the heat pump. Therefore, heat pumps are often oversized in practice. A good approach to estimating the heating load can be found in another forum... try using a search engine and look for Ringgrabenkollektor. Sooner or later, you will come across the heating load tool.

The heating load is nothing other than the sum of the room-specific heating loads, so you only have the actual heating load once you have calculated it room by room. However, it must be said that there are also different calculation methods for this. For example, whether solar gains are taken into account (warming because of the sun through the window).

If you want to get into it, with a little technical understanding, the data of the components, and an Excel tool, you can also calculate the room-specific heating load yourself. The tool can also be found in the magenta-colored forum.
