Hello,
quick question: The building acceptance has long since taken place, and we have been living in the house for a while.
In the ground floor: small hallway, guest bathroom, living room, kitchen.
Living room + kitchen are open as one room.
Since we removed the door from the small hallway to the large living room/kitchen area from the plan, the living room + kitchen + hallway were made into one room, so to speak (for the plumbing company or rather, they made this into one room for heating planning).
Therefore, we only have 2 thermostats on the ground floor: 1 for the guest bathroom, 1 for living room/kitchen/hallway (installed in the kitchen).
The neighbors have 1 extra thermostat (in the hallway) because they have a door between hallway/living room + kitchen. We do not.
The crucial question: Shouldn’t this one thermostat less, including installation, materials, etc., have been reimbursed to us?
We cannot estimate how high such an amount would be. If it’s insignificant, okay.
But if it is a sum, we would have liked to have had it explained to us why a credit was “overlooked” here.
Incidentally, we were not asked by the plumbing company whether we wanted it this way without a thermostat in the hallway; maybe we would have liked to have the thermostat in the hallway anyway to remain flexible (possibly a sliding door later on).
In the contract (general contractor) it states: Thermostats for each room with individual room control ....
Thank you very much for your brief assessment!
