How do you want to know that?
Of course it works. Even saves some space.

It's not a wall but easy DIY.

One could just read what the OP named as requirements.

Stay cool. Did I ask for your opinion?
The OP is looking for an inexpensive solution, so I should offer a usable and inexpensive alternative. The wall is simply the worst and most expensive solution.

There are noise barriers made of wood. Ones that can still be designed quite nicely.

For example: or also vertical slats.

Hello Pwnage619 phew, that’s really expensive. Use 17.5 cm calcium silicate bricks. (248 x 250 x 17.5). Costs about 300 euros. Some adhesive, 10 sacks of cement and 1m³ of gravel. All in all you’re at 400 euros material. Check out the construction sites to see if 2 guys have 2 Saturdays free to build you a wall. Foundation 80cm deep, put RCL at the bottom, compact well. Then formwork and reinforce the foundation. Mix concrete, pour it in. Lay the first layer of calcium silicate bricks level. Then build the wall up. Have it plastered with the house. If it costs 1,000 euros in total, that’s well paid. Steven

Hello Pwnage619

or you trust yourself to do it. It's not that hard.
But you shouldn't work with KS blocks. Take something simple: concrete formwork blocks. There are nice stones that look visually like natural stones. Take a look under can search.
Foundation as usual. Without two left hands, it's not rocket science, but it saves a lot of money.
Foundation a few centimeters above ground level. Horizontal barrier on top, 3 rows of stones leveled cleanly, don't forget the reinforcement, pour concrete, next 3 rows, etc. Until you're at the top. Cover on top and save 5 to 7 thousand euros.

Hello

We don't want a partition wall made of wood but of stone. We simply find it visually better.
We thought about doing it with stones that are hollow inside so you just have to stack the stones and fill them with soil or gravel.

I was thinking of hollow block stones but formwork stones could also be interesting.

They should also look good.
