In all the threads (on search terms like "Grundstücksservice", "11ant Barthel" or "11ant Leerverkauf") you should also have found out why: namely 1. that only what you could find yourself is offered and 2. that there is no success from the searcher's point of view (because the quality of the alternative suggestions is not really adequate), but often from the service provider's point of view (who then wants to be compensated for the contract termination). Why don't you shop for her - are you not moving there, but looking for a building plot only for your mother?

Okay, then I’ll illustrate it with a typical case: Mr. and Mrs. Average Meier (a family of four) search with several providers (a prefab house builder, a reasonably large general contractor, a mailbox general contractor) and receive on average eight to ten proposals annually (within roughly a 30 km radius, so practically county-wide). They are flexible (they wouldn’t reject a plot of just 150 instead of 180 sqm; a pitched roof is just as okay as a suburban villa). Prices are often within a financeable range, but twice a year the potential sellers who somehow got into the database just don’t decide quickly enough whether they want to sell or maybe not. All plots have two out of three drawbacks (slope, located behind other properties, a remote area requiring a second car). A third of these could have been found on some "Scout" portal or on eBay classifieds, and if you include Google Earth in "internet," actually all of them. I currently lack the time to compile my Barthel tips—but they can all be found here, and the few duplicates can be quickly overlooked. The providers of such plot services all show no real effort, correspondingly the results are also disappointing.

Wow, I got a warning from the admin for this post... because of unauthorized advertising. It's getting more and more user-unfriendly here. What a pity...

However
We are looking together for ourselves and for them as a granny flat or multi-generational house.
Since the house becomes somewhat more expensive as a result, there is not much budget left for the property.
