Hi,
here is my opinion on the additional effort
Groundwater control for the construction period:
- Depending on how deep it needs to be lowered (at least 0.5 m below the excavation base)
- Only possible with vacuum pumps (must be planned by an office), which have to be operated weeks in advance. Discharge of the water into the sewer. (Of course, the whole thing must be applied for with the municipality)
- Depending on where construction takes place, documentation of neighboring buildings in case of settlement damage caused by water lowering.
- Since, in my assessment, sandy soil is present, the slopes must be laid out with < 45°. Depending on the excavation depth, the construction pits quickly become quite large. An alternative is shoring. In water/sand preferably with sheet pile walls, since no water can run in from the sides. Beam-and-board shoring probably works as well.
At the end, the basement sealing as a “[Graue Wanne]” is added.
It all depends on how deep you want to go with the basement... In any case, a basement will not be cheap.
