Gray/Anthracite-colored windows - the new "white"?

Hello everyone,

we were recently on a construction site visit of our general contractor. The house had gray windows from the outside, my husband was immediately enthusiastic.

Due to corona, we had to wait a bit before entering the house, and then I noticed that the window handles are white. So I looked at the windows from the inside - white. I didn’t like that. Gray on the outside and inside would not be an option for me.

Now it feels like every new building has gray windows. Is gray the new white now, or rather a “trend” and the good old white will prevail again?

I like white, my husband likes gray...

What did you decide on?

Wood look on the outside, white on the inside.

Black on the outside, white on the inside

White on the outside, wood on the inside.

That is definitely simply fashion. Drive through new housing developments. It feels like every second house has a white facade and anthracite-colored windows. We also have it in our current condominium (built in 2010) and originally planned to do the same in the house. Then we had the thought during the construction phase that somehow everything looks the same and then we changed our mind. It was one of the best decisions.
