Garden planning: Lawn, kitchen garden, and shrubs?

Don't you have the problem of constantly having sand in the house? I always have to do a complete renovation after they play in the sandbox, before they turn the living room into a desert,... If there was still sand under the swing and so on, they would never be allowed to go in and out alone.

Han unfortunately no diary online. But I can gladly post a few pictures in my former floor plan discussion at some point. However, even inside, not everything is finished yet. The large door is missing, the living room door is missing, only one toilet of three is installed and also only one washbasin of three... I don't even want to start on the chaos rooms like the basement and utility room. :lol: But for us, it's okay, we are doing everything step by step... That's just how it is when you don't build turnkey and still want a lot... The budget is limited. :) But we already feel very comfortable here. :D

On the plan, you can see the tree that borders the play area, right? It's an old apple tree, about 3m high or so, and from the afternoon it provides shade exactly on the play area. That's really good. And the sandbox is supposed to go under a climbing hut, so there will always be shade!

That is an option for us. The terrace will be done at the earliest next year. Financially, it’s not possible otherwise. Until then, the gravel has to suffice. And the tool shed, etc., will only be built in two or even three years... Until then, there will be grass there, because otherwise the clay soil immediately turns to mud when it rains... That just won’t do. We simply won’t do everything at once....
