Oh dear, okay. That kind of thing is always annoying. Unfortunately, people often get tempted into something where the money is simply gone. So in your case, everything was done right. I'm looking forward to your further progress.

Hello everyone :)
I am currently working on the same project. I had the garden house framed by a local timber construction company according to my plans and placed it on concrete block foundations. Basically like a kit then.

I set the foundations 10 cm above the finished floor to keep the KVH (wood) out of the wet.

I want to make the roof overhang box-like to install spotlights there. Because of that, a few HPL parts are needed where the measurements have to be exact, if only because of the joint.
where did you get your panels from and what is the name of the "color"? It really looks good on yours. The basic concept with you is similar to mine, only that I have 2 walls made of gabions.

Looking forward to seeing how it progresses. I am also curious about the plexiglass inserts. They are on my list too.
Best regards, Bodo

The frame is standing for now:

Good evening

How large are the fields for you? I don't see any cross braces yet.

The panels are from Hornbach, color is ral7016. Art. 10390383
Hornbach recently no longer recommends installation outdoors, the panels apparently warp in sunlight.

The cut, however, was clean and very straight.
By the way, Bauhaus also offers them.

If you have to cut the panels yourself, they can be cut well with the table saw, I specifically got a fine blade, edges hardly chip.

Work continues mid next week, I am currently still in Turkey.

I will first staple a black underlay (similar to an underlay membrane) on. Then screw on a substructure, on which the panels will be placed. I just don't know yet which material to choose for the substructure. Wooden battens? Plastic?

The panels from Hornbach are unbeatable in price. But suddenly not for outdoor use? Damn -,-
When I see others like Trespa and so on... they charge crazy prices. Phuuuo_O

maybe someone still has ideas for the substructure and experience with buying the HPL panels?

wants to approach it similarly with UK and underlay membrane. Do you already have concrete ideas about the material of the UK?

I have about 200 leftover pieces of HPL here that come from the interior construction of Mercedes motorhomes. I wanted to cut them myself, since they were curved I could have made "rounded corners" ;) But I had them stacked outside on a pallet for a year, supposedly they were weatherproof. I can probably dispose of them all now because they blistered during the frost in winter  Very, very annoying. Money, time, and then disposal on top. I now have to choose other material, it won't be Trespa. For the under construction I still have about 2-3m³ of 8x4 battens from the house (leftovers) lying around... Everything else nice for outdoors is still outrageously expensive (Siberian larch or similar). Your little house is awesome, but probably rather at the higher end price-wise? Would you like to say something about the budget?
