Hello everyone,
thank you for your answers. Well, our construction site (everything from a single source) is unfortunately going completely differently than planned.
We are also baffled as to how it could have happened. Or rather, we think it was due to poor plans, which the roofing company then also implemented poorly. And the site manager did not detect the error either. We will have the roof inspected. It's not just about the appearance, but also about the structural integrity and other functionalities. Furthermore, the defect is logically a reduction in value. Unfortunately, we are more than aware of all this......

The differently long overhangs would hardly bother me - something longer on the garden side can indeed be pleasant. A statically shifted center of gravity, on the other hand, would make me think - have a structural engineer check it at the carpenter's expense. If the structural integrity is fine - leave it, if the structure is compromised, a demolition and rebuild is not disproportionate.

What does it look like at the back? If the structural integrity, etc. is okay, have the roof extended to cover the terrace at the builder's expense?

In my opinion, this is the crucial point here, the appearance "shifts" depending on the perspective, but rarely does one view a house in real life exactly standing in the ridge axis in front of the gable side. According to my interpretation, a structurally correct roof truss was set up with a linear displacement. How, for example, this should not have been noticed in reinforcements for chimney breakthroughs or similar is beyond me, but overall, it seems most likely to me that this is a linear displacement. If the eaves side, which is shorter due to the overhang, is not also the weather side, then I see the statics as the only truly relevant aspect.

I think I am not seeing correctly. What do you mean it was not noticed??? The support of the rafters on the left side did not occur in the intended claws, but instead further ones were produced offset. That was the moment – and that is at the beginning of the erection, where it should have been noticed at the latest. At that time it could still have been corrected without effort. I withhold advice....
