I also don't see anything from this perspective. If it bothers you: why not a small extension at the front, which also immediately provides some shelter over the path by the house?

The number of verge tiles is the same on both sides, with 16 each. Shortening and lengthening is difficult due to the bevel of the underside of the rafters. I would leave it as it is, although I am much more bothered by the cross-section of the [Fußschwellen], compared to the [Firstpfette].

Of course, because the roof was not poorly constructed but improperly installed.

How someone can't notice that when raising it is beyond me. The purlins are already outside the plan. 20cm is certainly not a tolerance.

I also think that you should demand a dismantling with proper reconstruction or a not insignificant compensation. Just imagine, if you want or have to sell the house someday, such a defect (unless it is concealed) will also have a depreciating effect.

... and you think you've seen it all :oops: Regardless of the financial discussion, I would first have a functional check to see if it can actually stay that way (are both foot purlins properly supported, static, wind load, etc).
