Since unfortunately nothing is measured on the inside, one can only visually conclude that the door to the small children's room at the top of the plan is too narrow. This is derived from the window dimension of 85 cm at the bottom of the plan.

Hello,

thank you very much for the input!

The 85 cm at the bottom are correctly measured. It may be that the door at the top is not quite right, as it was created with Powerpoint. However, the doors are also from 1964 and definitely have special dimensions.

I really like the comment about the openness of variant 2.

I have to say that 76cm is also enough. So maybe except for bringing in a sofa or something like that when moving in. We have 150cm (only passage), 100cm (patio door), 86cm (almost all room doors), and 76cm (guest toilet). I actually don’t notice any difference in everyday life except for the 150cm passage.

I think so too. Upstairs you don’t want an accessible door, but access to the children's rooms.

Thank you all for the discussion! I now also find option 2 really pragmatic because the remodeling is relatively minor

In our old building there is one or the other corner where we have problems with furniture. For example, the sofa will come through the window...
