Let's do that!

If the balcony is to be used regularly by all family members, I do not understand the access through the two children's rooms. Even if there is still a staircase leading to the balcony, the children have no peace from the grilling parents in front of their windows: whether at a very young age or older – sooner or later, this use will be given up.

Maybe you should set the views with the slope so that it is clear where outlets are possible.

Depends. Friends have a 120 sqm rooftop terrace. Really great, but necessary? 5x3 is definitely sufficient for a normal balcony. But not if you want an 8-seater and a whirlpool on it.

Somehow this is a standard floor plan, with quite a few things still missing (like double-wing windows, opening indicators, etc...). You can't really go wrong with it, except that it has already been built 100 times and doesn't represent an individual plan for your needs.

Yvonne, the balcony is accessible from the kitchen and the dining room. It is probably a hillside house.

The question is also whether one prefers to grill in the evening in the northeast, because that's where the balcony is, or if it would be better in the northwest/west.

As mentioned, we don’t have any opinions yet because BU wanted to see if it’s going in the right direction. Well, since it’s a north-facing property and we know the pros and cons, we have decided on it. The balcony will definitely be the main balcony. There is also a garden by the balcony, which will be used for larger events. Therefore, the grill doesn’t necessarily have to be on the balcony. Standard floor plan, yes, that’s unfortunately how it mostly is when you don’t plan with an architect. Hence the question of what should be changed, which we can then pass on.

Keep as is so far.
Children’s room facing southwest
Move pantry passage to the basement, still plan a small room for the vacuum cleaner on the ground floor
